A Reunion of Kings is a collection of carols which the members of The M Street Brass Quintet have enjoyed listening to and playing during the Christmas season. We have compiled our Christmas selections from a variety of sources. Many are carols we have performed in concert or played during church services. Others come from hymnals, or occasionally, we discover a carol hidden within another composition. While some of the carols on our CD are staples of the holiday season, many are rarely heard and not widely known. The lesser known carols are often anonymous, but likely adaptations of ancient folk melodies or Gregorian chants. We find that these carols add a welcome freshness to the holiday season and also convey a reverence sometimes lost in the arrangements of more popular carols. A Reunion of Kings was recorded live in the Sanctuary of the Epworth United Methodist Church, Gaithersburg, Maryland, in August and September, 1997.  M Street Brass is available to perform Brass Christmas Music at your church or holiday engagements and more.  M Street Brass serves the Baltimore, Washington D.C. metro areas, including Maryland and Virginia.
